Reiner Knizia's Through the Desert HD app good for
Loved the original board game, and enjoy the sounds, graphics, and single player in this version.
This plays just like the board game, very easy to learn. Good ai
Some bad moments
The description clearly states that you can play online with friends... Either I simply cant find the option, the description blatantly lies, or it means that you and a friend can each play at the same time while on the internet, but not in the same game. DONT PURCHASE if you are expecting online multiplayer like the description suggests.
Also the drag and drop is sloppy. I often grab the wrong camel by mistake. And because my finger is on the actual camel, I cant clearly see where Im dropping it, which leads to misplaced camels (and there is no undo)
This game is a decent implementation, but not worth the money for what you get.
Unforgivable camel placements. a minor slip of the finger = camel in the wrong spot with no undo option.
Very poor online multi-player option. Ok if you play with friends, but youll wait forever to play a random match. I dont even know why the option exist. Ive never succeeded at playing online.
Over all just so disappointing for such a great game. Dont get this app, go buy the table version and invite your friends over.
This game could be a lot of fun if it didnt freeze all the time, and if I could actually get the multi-player version to work. I bought it because my partner wanted to play it with me. No luck, either networked or on the hot seat version, which keeps freezing.
I love the game, but waiting for the computer opponents to move is an exercise in patience. The animations should be faster.
Crashes a bit on the iPad2, would be 4 stars if it didnt crash
This game would be awesome if it did not crash all the time. Also, it is very difficult to put a camel in a space when your carpet covers it.
